Canada Day Celebrations-Prince Albert National Park

Saturday, July 1, 2017
Take in the pancake breakfast at the Community Hall (get there early!), followed by the noon-hour parade in the Waskesiu Lake town site. Show your national pride with the singing of O Canada, watch the flag raising and don’t miss the birthday cake! Later that day enjoy the music festival and beer gardens which features live entertainment, licensed refreshments and food. Open to all ages, free admission into the park and into the event! Come Celebrate Canada!

FiddlyNess Fiddle Camp

Traditional fiddle music has been passed down from generation to generation for centuries. The 4th annual FiddlyNess continues this time honoured tradition, sharing tunes from many Canadian styles, including Prairie, Metis, Down East, Ottawa Valley, Quebecois, and Celtic. Three Island Paddle & Music Festival

Enjoy a free family fun day of paddling and a music festival at the Hanging Heart Lakes in Prince Albert National Park.Bring your paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes or reserve a boat ahead of time from the Waskesiu Marina Adventure Centre.Paddle to different destinations and be eligible for terrific prizes.
